Halloween Morning was beautiful for a run and spending time with family and friends! We had 207 Runners and Walkers finish with some great times and many personal bests were set. Many returnees from last years Alion Cares 5K were present, thank you! and welcome back. I had a great time running with the Kids (always a challenge with them) and Cheering everyone on. A special thanks to all of our teams that came out to run and walk. We will have a special category for you next year!

I have had several questions as to whether or not the course is accurate. It is precisely 3.1 miles and was re-measured and confirmed this past week using the USATF standards and guidelines. So yes... you really ran that time on an accurate 5K course! Good Job!
